New regulations propose a maximum KR2m ($335k) top prize for the national event and a cap of KR500 ($83) for the home games.

Norway may soon have a national live poker tournament as the government launches a consultation on possible regulatory changes.

The consultation launched by the Ministry of Culture also recommends allowing home games and small poker tournaments.
