PokerStars’ Spin & Gos Create Landmark Revenues in Italy

For the first time since cash games were permitted in the Italian regulated market, net revenues from tournaments have exceeded those from cash games.

In the last week of August, PokerStars Italy launched its Spin & Go lottery style sit and gos in Italy, helping it to achieve a market share of 70%.

Figures for the full month of September show that total tournament buy ins hit €72.5 million, compared to €62.2 million in September 2013.
